So, in case anyone was wondering (Updated)

I probably haven’t mentioned this before, so I’ll mention it now.
I’ve got some exams coming up, so I won’t actively do shit up until those are over.
So, during my extra long weekend 20-23rd October, which is right after the exams are done with, I’mma have a lot of fansub-related shizz to do.
Or well, depends on the definition of “a lot”, I guess. ( ¬‿¬)

In the end, it ain’t really all that much. It’s Kira ep2, two episodes of this one particular show, and probably something on another show.
And then I’ll have to play some Dark Souls as well.

Tl;dr what this means is that there won’t really be much activity here for another week-ish something.
Possibly something, but I won’t make any promises.

Edit4: Well, that went better than expected. The last exam, that is. Not Dark Souls. Didn’t get anywhere, but I got 1 humanity at least. ┐(‘～`；)┌
Edit5: Also, I’d forgotten how lazy you feel when you’re down with a cold. Haven’t had one in years.
Edit6: Okay, it’s a bit more than just a cold, apparently. Tl;dr I don’t feel like doing shit. Hopefully it’s over when my new courses start on Monday.

Edit7: I’m still slacking like fuck, and, well, we’ll see what happens this season. I will try getting Higurashi Kira ep2 out sometime soon, at least. And maybe some LOLHeroes, to make up for the lack of other stuff to release. (Read: “sometime soon” means “not before the weekend, but not necessarily this month.”)

So can we have some timers applying?

As you might be aware, Summer’s pretty much ended, and Fall’s approaching pretty fast.
Without a timer, a joint would be the best we could hope pull off next season, and well, yeah, that’d be kinda boring, in a way.

Tl,dr timers, apply. Come now, you know you want to.

Edit: Okay, seems like timers actually do exist, after all. Might have enough of ‘em now.

Itsuten 12 – Released [THE END] and batch

Just thought I’d mention that I was delayed because I had to rage over someone trashtalking Kagami Takaya’s superior writing skills when everything is actually ZEXCS’s fault. Thanks to that, I spent a whole whopping 10min extra on TL. щ(ﾟДﾟщ)
So yeah, these delays were all thanks to that guy.

On another note, this episode is fanservice, fanservice and more fanservice.
And while on the subject of this particular episode…
Our team seems to have been rather confused this week.
TS was fabulously enough done by me, while timing was done by our dear encoder, tp7.
Do note how that’s not how it’s supposed to be. ( ¬‿¬)

Anyway, with this, Itsuten is now over, and we’ll have a little break until something new and interesting starts airing.
Batch, for those who want it, will come tomorrow or something.
And speaking of which, we could technically put up a batch with what we’ve got now, without fixing anything, or we could fix the errors that would be fixed for the BDs anyway.

Anyway, we’ll do the Itsuten BDs once they’re out, and as there’s less work to be done on those, you can expect them to get out way faster than the LOLHeroes BDs. ( ¬‿¬)
That said, LOLHeroes BD ep7-8 still on QC and 9 being worked on. Up to 12 is encoded and ready to be worked on, while 13-16 is in for encoding.
Haven’t had the time and money to buy volumes 9+ yet though.

Also, more importantly, still want need another timer to sign up as a reserve. Actually, I wouldn’t mind having a reserve reserve timer as well. Squiggy’s taking a break from fansubbing, so we really need a timer for the coming season, since we as of now don’t have one.
Actually, this deserves its own post. I’ll post some timer-recruitment post in a day or two.
And as I kind of (probably) got a hold of another TL, we’re looking into the prospect of doing two shows for the coming season (nope, no shows decided yet), and having a whole “second team” to work on that second show would be pretty neat, more specifically, a timer and… yeah, that’s all, probably.
Another QC as well, unless gboyredgun feels like hanging out on IRC more often.  ( ﾟ∀ﾟ)ｱﾊﾊ八八ﾉヽﾉヽﾉヽﾉ ＼ / ＼/ ＼

It’s like, TL’d, TLC’d and edited, and then timed to at least 13min (I did that until I got bored after 2 damn hours of timing. Never again.)
After that, I have no idea what’s going on.

Tl;dr should be out sometime today (Monday).
Timers (for the fall season), do we have any volunteers?

First they ended LOLHeroes right when it was about to become even more awesome, and now when Itsuten is turning awesome, they’re about to end it. Hoo-fucking-ray.

Know what’s funny? Thanks to that recruitment in disguise post the other day, it didn’t matter that Samu-tan’s gone until sometime tomorrow or Monday, because we had this one brave person applying for editor.
See, this is exactly the reason why I want a reserve for each spot. If someone happens to be gone, there’s an extra. Brilliant.
So, yeah, if there’s some inconsistency with some phrases or something in comparison to previous episodes, there’s the reason. Do mention it, and said inconsistencies will magically vanish in the BD releases.

Fall 2011

The title is rather self-explanatory, is it not?
Inb4 wall of text.

So, like, we haven’t really decided shit yet.
We’re probably pulling the same shit as we did with LOLHeroes, and Gosick, waiting for at least one episode of everything to air before deciding what to sub.
Until then, we’re probably somewhat open for suggestions, but in the end we’ll most likely completely ignore any requests.  ( ¬‿¬)

There are some shows, however, that we might be more likely to do than others.
For example,  Guilty Crown seems awesome. As far as I know (correct me if I’m wrong), no one’s decided to do this yet.
Then there’s C³, because we all love cubes, don’t we? ( ¬‿¬)
Also Mashiro-iro Symphony, for the simplest of reasons. Random generic harem VN adaption + Manglobe. Like, seriously, what?
Oh yeah, then there’s Mirai Nikki, because there’s some mild interest in it.

Then we’ve got the stuff that’s still on-going, the SYD OVAs (there were 3 of them, whereof 2 haven’t aired yet) and Higurashi Kira.

Also, guess what? More staff (if it’s the right staff in the right amounts) generates more shows.
Now, what might I be trying to say with that?
Yes, that’s right! Recruitment time. （‐＾▽＾‐）

So, yeah, here’s the deal:
As ya’ll might’ve noticed, we’ve had some delays every now and then.
Why? Because someone or someones (wat, I didn’t even know that was an actual word) was missing.
What should we do about this? Easy. Get reserves for every spot available.
Translator (Currently: 2½) – This one’s pretty important, but I bet you knew that. So, this is like top priority. More of these are always welcome.
Translation Checker (Currently: 1½) – We ain’t got one. Thus, pretty high priority one this one, too. Yeah, one should be enough.
Timer (Currently: 1) – Another one of these would be good to have.
Typesetter (Currently: 2½) – Not very urgent. But well, if you prove that you’re better than Eien, and at most half as lazy, then you’re welcome, I guess. ┐(￣ー￣)┌
Editor (Currently: 2) – A reserve would be nice. Okay.
Encoder (Currently: 2) – No need. At all. Two pro encoders are more than enough. (Speaking of which, 10bit encodes incoming this fall if .ts can be acquired.)
Quality Checker (Currently: 2?) – A reserve on this position would be good, too. Gboyredgun, you thar? Lurk moar.
Capper (Currently: 1? 0) – I think Eien’s got one. Probably. Correction: We need one of these.

I don’t think I missed anyone, but do mention if you feel left out. ( ¬‿¬)
Also, I was about to forget this, if you want to apply for Editor or QC, then at least be fluent in English.

And if we get a reserve for each position (where it’s needed), we could also expand it further, which would enable us to do more than 1 show.

Itsuten 10 – Released

Sup, I’m busy playing the latest DLC for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood studying funfun digital design, and Samu-tan felt like it was more fun sleeping than posting this, so I’ll keep it short this time.
